Our Story

Blue Ridge Bloom Collective is rooted in a love for Virginia's mountains, the beauty of the seasons, and the small wonders of the natural world.

At its heart is Sweet T's Honey Bees--our apiary, with hives in the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Caring for our bees has deepened our appreciation for the connection between the bees, the land, its blooms, and the honey and hive products we share.

I'm Tara, the beekeeper behind Sweet T's Honey Bees and the crafter behind the salves and other products produced with the help of the bees. I'm also a pediatrician here in the Shenandoah Valley. Beekeeping offers me a chance to slow down, spend time outdoors, and appreciate the remarkable work happening every moment in every hive.

From raw honey to handcrafted beeswax goods and salves, we bring a little Blue Ridge beauty into everyday life. We are glad you are here and grateful to share what's growing and buzzing at Blue Ridge Bloom!
